The mill was our first choice of studio space when we set up years ago and now we wouldn't be anywhere else! The whole team are amazing and have always been super supportive in helping find the perfect studio in the mill each time we needed to change in size. The community aspect fosters lots of creative collaboration between residents and it's also great to have the social spaces of the kitchens, cafe and bar just to catch up with people. We love it here!

Sonder has had the pleasure of calling Castlton Mill home for nearly 5 years now - We've seen the family grow quite considerably in that time. I really couldn't imagine being anywhere else - The Mill goes out of it's way to continually accommodate our changing needs as a business and to maintain and improve on the already amazing facilities here. The drive of The Mill is community lead, helping businesses network and grow alongside each other. I'd find it difficult to recommend anywhere else you'd want to work in Leeds!
Sonder Studios
As one of the first tenants in the Mill when it was refurbished, we love the community spirit and now almost 7 years later we can't imagine being based anywhere else. The team at the Mill have supported our growth as we've moved through three different office spaces around the building and having a bar on site is definitely a plus too!

Coming to the mill has definitely been a win win for us and the new space works really well for what we need. Being able to have equipment well spaced out and racked as well as room to lounge and listen afterwards from the comfort of Zig’s generously donated corner couch has been a really comfortable experience to say the least! This coupled in with the welcoming, laid back and relaxed atmosphere from all the neighbouring businesses as well as the Mill crew for us, has made for a really sound work space to be involved with and one we’d happily recommend!
